Microneedling

Microneedling has a beautiful effect on your facial skin. The tiny, controlled injuries produced by the microneedles trigger your skin to produce more natural collagen. The result of your treatment will appear over the following days and weeks, as your skin becomes firmer, suppler, and more youthful.

Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue.

Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues.

It’s also called skin needling, collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI).

Most anyone can have the procedure performed as long as they do not have any active infections, lesions, or any known wound healing problems.

WHAT CAN MICRONEEDLING DO FOR ME?

Microneedling produces visible results in facial skin, and can be used to treat the following conditions:

  • Acne scars

  • Loose skin

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Enlarged pores

  • Age spots or sun spots

  • Stretch marks

  • Skin texture issues

  • Pigmentation problems

HOW WILL IT FEEL?

Microneedling is not very painful to experience. Before your treatment, a numbing cream can be applied. Many patients rely on microneedling to continue to have soft, firm skin, with a younger, refreshed look and do not need numbing. The sensation is not terribly painful, feeling like a scratching sensation. The needles are so tiny that the impact on your skin is minimal – but well worth the results.
